It is a  regional coalition of local and regional clean community, recycling, and environmental education coordinators that promote litter prevention, recycling, community beautification, and general environmental awareness through educational projects designed to reach all sectors of the Hampton Roads region. CIGARETTE LITTER!

Fort Monroe - Deconstruction Project

Virginia Naturally is the official environmental education initiative of the Commonwealth. HRAEE - Hampton Roads Alliance for Environmental Education is your local initiative, promoting communication between the various environmental resources available to Hampton Roads.   

Statewide Litter Prevention Campaign
The Department of Environmental Quality and the Litter Control & Recycling Fund Advisory Board helped develop and produce materials to support efforts for the "Litter...It Just Isn't Natural." campaign to raise awareness about littering and its harmful impacts on the environment.
