Why Recycle
Electronics?
Americans accumulate
close to 50 million tons of electronic waste each year. Much of this
waste can be recycled and used again. Dumping e-waste into landfills
can release elements that leach into the soil and water.
Incinerating e-waste can also release harmful particles into the
air. Responsible recycling can prevent these problems and make the
raw materials available for reuse.
The Electronics
Recycling Event will be held on Saturday, October 11, 9 a.m. to 2
p.m. at all Grand Furniture
locations.
Please view this flyer
for a list of accepted items. All accepted items will be processed
free of charge, excluding televisions.
The $10 processing charge for television
sets will be waived for the first 100 sets at each location.
